DESCRIPTION:Join us for our January Third Tuesday on January 21st at the DOC House. Our guest speaker will be Jennifer Rosales\, Senior Vice President for Campus Life and Community.\nAs senior vice president for community and campus life\, Jennifer Rosales is responsible for the development of Dartmouth's community-building strategy and key campus-wide organizations\, including the William Jewett Tucker Center\, Outdoor Programs\, and the Office of Community Life and Inclusivity.\nJennifer previously served as the inaugural director of the Center for Engaged Pedagogy at Barnard College\, and before that\, as director of research and evaluation at the Center for Social Justice at Georgetown University. She served as assistant professor of practice in education at Barnard and as an adjunct professor in the Program on Justice and Peace Studies at Georgetown. She earned her PhD in the School of Cinematic Arts\, Division of Critical Studies\, at the University of Southern California.\nImmediately before coming to Dartmouth\, Jennifer served as vice president for inclusion and engaged learning and chief diversity officer at Barnard. In that role\, she developed a strategy that anchored the institution's DEI work in the benefits it brings to the entire community—in the classroom\, through co-curriculars\, and in relationships and programming outside campus. She also led important campus initiatives such as a faculty task force on free expression.
